Deactivate a Patient's Profile

If a patient is no longer active at your clinic (discharged, hasn't returned for service, etc.) you have the option to deactivate their profile. This will remove their profile from the list of active patients. In addition, a patient whose profile has been deactivated will no longer be able to access their care plan from the patient portal or patient app. 

You can deactivate a patient's profile from either the Patient List or via the patient's Profile.

From the Patient List

1. Click Patients in the upper navigation bar

2. Locate the patient whose information you'd like to edit

3. Under the Action column in the patient's row, click on the ellipses (...), then click Edit

4. In the Edit Patient window, scroll down to the Active slider and toggle it to No 

5. Click Save

From the Patient's Profile

1. Click on the status button to the right of the patient's name (it will say either Active or Inactive)

2. From the dropdown that appears, click on View Details

3. In the Edit Patient window, scroll down to the Active slider and toggle it to No 

4. Click Save
