For the 2021 Performance Year, the participation options include reporting as an individual, group, or both individual and group. The majority of Keet Clients report as both Group and Individual to take advantage of the preferential scoring scenario. In this instance, individuals who score higher than the group are able to receive their individual final score. Alternatively, individuals who score lower than the group are insulated by the group score and receive their final group score.

Frequently Asked Questions

If your organization chooses to participate as a Group only, the organization's performance data (non-individually identifiable) will be submitted to CMS.
If I report as both, Individual & Group, what data is being sent to CMS on my behalf?
If you choose to participate as both Group and as an Individual, all of your organization's performance data (non-individually identifiable) will be included in your final submission and the individually-identifiable performance data (data associated with individual NPI’s) from practitioners who provided consent.
What if I do not want to report any data for fear of a negative payment adjustment?
For 2021, the QPP established an automatic extreme and uncontrollable circumstances (EUC) policy for clinicians affected by natural disasters. Clinicians affected by these extreme and uncontrollable circumstances (COVID-19) may have their performance categories reweighted or receive a neutral payment adjustment.
