Care Plans are made of activities that include exercises, education, and questionnaires. Create and personalize Care Plans to engage patients, influence behavior, and drive quality clinical outcomes.
- If your Keet account has an established integration with you EMR, a Care Plan will be automatically created for each new patient case, which you can then edit and customize
- If you do not have an EMR integration, you will add Care Plan for each new patient case
Active EMR Integration
- Select Patients from the navigation bar
- Click on a patient's name whose Care Plan you would like to edit
- Locate the Care Plan you wish to personalize and select Edit
With an active EMR integration, certain fields in the Care Plan will auto-populate such as the start date, provider, and location or place of service. If you need to edit any details you can do so by updating the relevant fields in the pop out window.
- If you have updated any of the information within the Care Plan ensure that you click Save
- Add content to the Care Plan by selecting Add Activity - activity items will include Education, Exercises, and/or Questionnaires
No EMR Integration
*Note: Non-Integrated accounts will need to manually add patients to the system. When you manually create a patient's profile an Episode of Care and Care Plan auto-populates and will be labeled "Default Episode of Care" and "Untitled Care Plan"
- Select Patients from the navigation bar
- Click on a patient's name whose Default Episode of Care and Untitled Care Plan you would like to edit
- Locate the Default Episode of Care that you would like to edit. Select the Edit tool
- Edit the required fields in the Default Episode of Care including Title, Status, and Supervising Provider
- Once updated- click Save to see the preferred changes
- Locate the Care Plan that you wish to update and select Edit
- Fill out the fields in the Edit Care Plan window, ensure you include the most completed data for all fields in the Care Plan- click Save
- Create the Care Plan content by adding activities for your patients such as Education, Exercise, and Questionnaires

Monitoring your patient outcomes will help your clinic validate symptoms and see changes over the patient's care journey.
Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROs) are clinic questionnaires completed by patients to measure their perception of their health and well-being. PROs use validated questionnaires to turn symptoms like knee pain or changes in daily functioning into score that can be followed over time.
- Click on the Patients tab on the menu bar
- Select a patient whose outcomes you would like to review
- Identify the Episode of Care that you would like to review. The v icon next to the Episode of Care will allow you to toggle between different Episodes or cases. Select the Episode.

MIPS participation with Keet is easy as 1, 2, 3.
- Evaluate all patient cases for MIPS eligibility
- Capture an initial Patient Reported Outcome (PRO)
- Capture a subsequent PRO(s)
When evaluating a patient cases for MIPS eligibility, it is important to understand when a patient cases is automatically excluded from MIPS participation as well as when a patient can be manually disqualified.
- Select the Patients tab on the Menu Bar
- Select a patient that you would like to evaluate their case for MIPS eligibility
- Identify the Episode of Care that you would like to review. The v icon will allow you to toggle between Episode of Care. Select the Episode, click Next.
To evaluate a patient's case or region of injury for MIPS, these fields are required: Insurance Type, MIPS Qualification toggle to Qualified, and Classifications.
*Note: Classifications field is not required at this time. If you are able to select the Primary (Knee, Shoulder, Elbow, etc) and Secondary (surgery, bone, etc) classification it is recommended.
Try toggling the MIPS Qualification toggle from Qualified to Disqualified. You will see if the patient is to be Disqualified the toggle button turns red. Be sure to Save if making any changes.
Tracking your patient experience through a Net Promoter Score or NPS is easy. This is a metric used to rate a patient's experience within your clinic. The patient can provide a score from any part of their experience, including available parking, cleanliness of your clinic's lobby, and the care they received from their provider.
- Click on the Patients tab on the Menu Bar
- Select a patient whose NPS Score you would like to view
You will see the patient's NPS score in the upper right-hand corner of their profile.
*Note: If this feature is not enabled the NPS data will not appear. You can contact Keet Support for enablement.
You can also review the patient's comment by hovering over the NPS score.
One way to support your patient throughout their care journey is to stay in communication with them regularly. You can communicate directly through Keet's secure chat feature.
- Click on the Patients tab on the Menu Bar
- Select a patient to whom you would like to send a message. *Note: You cannot send a message to a patient unless they are registered to a Keet account.
- Click on the Message tab within the patient profile
- Click on the Create New Conversation button
- Add a Topic or subject line. Once the Topic is added, Click Submit
- Type your body of the message in the available text field. Click Send Message after you have completed your message your patient
